Hello again and thanks for the speedy reply!
I kept trying to go to the properties page of the service but it never did seem to
appear regardless of how much ive chosen Properties when I right click the RPC service.
Ive also just tried the Repair Console and tried the solution their but it still
didn't work :(
Btw, under services.msc, the extended tab wont display properly so I always use the
standard tab (has been apparent since the problem started - after I was DoS via RPC).
Furthermore, some javascript dependent sites and local commands wont work properly.
