You reboot -- in your case -- by turning off your computer. You may need to hold
the power switch in for 5-10 seconds.
If you reboot and get stuck at a blank screen again, press CTRL-ALT-DEL and Windows
Task Manager will open. Makr sure the Applications tab at the top is selected, click
on New Task at the bottom, type explorer in the box and click OK. You should get
your desktop back, at least temporarily.
