I started getting the same message today while chatting on msn messenger 6.. that
was the last thing i installed, once the generic nonsense problem has popped up and
i've closed the window i can no longer double click files for them to work, i have
to right click and use the 'open with' option.. I had the auto-restart in 60secs
message too, but disabled that in the start>control panel>admin tools>services window..
changing the 'failure' options to 'recover prog' instead of 'restart pc'.. That stopped
my pc restarting, but it still aint over.. all this generic silliness. Unlikely to
be a virus. I'm not running a network or anything, but the rpc thing that is the
cause of the auto restart has a lot of network based progs 'depending' on it..
