Dialog box that says This system is shutting down.. initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.. Time before shutdown (ticks off a minute in seconds) .. because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly And it happens every two or three minutes, and on log in ... I see three good solutions posted, thank you all -- I don't know what longterm consequences are but a quick fix to it that I tried has been to select Restart the Service instead of Restart the Computer in the First Failure scrollslot under those Properties, Log-in, that I read about here
