BYPASS Solution Monday, August 11, 2003 at 8:32 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by DDN (2 messages posted) Go to C:/Windows/System32 and rename the file "TASKMGR" to "TASKMGR.TXT" (Windows will make another copy of it, so you dont have to worry). Double-click on TASKMGR.TXT and it'll open your task manager without disappearing again. From there, you can figure out what program is causing the problem by "end process" one by one. Good luck.
