re: windows update not working Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 9:51 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Victor (2 messages posted) I tried renaming/deleting catroot2, and also tried the cmd method, but it is still the same, the update.inf integrity problem is still here... i opened the system32 folder and deleted the catroot2 again, then i found out as i was trying to install the update, catroot2 starts to be recreated (or i should say reborn) again... any ideas on what i should do?
