Will the Microsoft patch restore my RPC if I have foolishly disabled it in response
to the virus attack? I have read Anton et al's method of restoring the RPC via regedit
but if I don't have to navigate the registry minefield I would rather not. As you
have heard before, I disabled RPC and now my machine barely works and I cannot access
the RPC properties to enable it again.
