I have no problems successfully deleting the catroot2 folder (but restarting the
crypto service does indeed recreate it). Count me as number 8 -- still can't install
the patch b/c of the cryptographic error thingy. Dell desktop, XP Home.
I'll try to also delete catroot in addition to catroot2 (tonight). Keep in mind,
though, I've seen warnings against doing this. I'll see if making a backup helps.
Microsoft, are you listing? Horton do you hear this Who?
