I just solved it after reading a couple of similar messages on forums. In my case
the offensive program was called explorer64.exe (in c:\winnt\system32), and there
were entry in registry;
if you can't open registry in normal mode, reload in safe mode, then run regedit
and search for Run -- in find window, uncheck values and data, leave keys checked
and check 'Match whole string'; then look through all keys with Run and Run Once,
you'll probably find something suspicious; in particular, an entry pointing to a
program without path means that the program is inside winnt\system32;
after I got rid of registry entreis for explorer64 and took it out of c:\winnt\system32,
the problem was solved.
