I followed instructions for adding a dword and it seemed everything worked great.
When I open my documents or other files size and view type is preserved, but now
i have a new problem.
When I browse files through another application the file order is totally screwed
up. If in winamp I open a folder of mp3s it shows them in list format by type. Sub
folders are shown at then end and files aren't alphabetized. In order to display
correctly I've to change to details view and click by name.
Again this is only when I'm browsing files via another app, like winamp or photoshop.
Can anyone help? Did I screw up in regedit?
thanks for your help,
nick
