If you initiate the download the firewall should let it pass without a problem. Spybot
has a good help/tutorial section. In the folder it makes in your start menu/programs
list it gives you the choice to start it in simple or advanced mode. I prefer advanced
as it has a tool for looking at and changing the programs that run at startup, the
programs that run in the background. I use that all the time. So many programs set
themselves to run all the time, taking up RAM and CPU cycles. Thin them out to just
the ones you need.
