thanks, i managed to make it work by trying to unregister zipfld.dll with winzip
running and then have winzip reassociate in the same process. That seemed to work.
The first time i did it no winzip was running and windows took control of the associations,
and it went back to the microsoft zip folder nightmare.
THANK YOU, it's so nice to have winzip controlling the folders now and windows doesn't
drill down with a drilled folder for every stinking zip in the current folder, you
just click on the one you want and winzip opens it. Just hope this works after i
reboot, if not i guess i can just have it unregister during boot up.
