You don't need to remove outlook express. Just don't use it. I have not had a virus in the few years I stopped using outlook, but even when using Web email you should, never, never, never, never, never,,,,,open a email attachment, unless you are expecting the attachment and know in advance what it is. Also it seems to be a must to have either a hardware or software firewall in place now.
