thanx Jim P.
your inferences were correct. I've googled for those registry edits and i tried adding
a 'NoPopUpsOnBoot' in the registry as instructed by the website but the warning messages
keep coming.
the blank error messages has not done any obvious harm to computer yet but i do want
to rectify it.
