re: Empty Device Manager Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 4:43 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dave D (2 messages posted) I have a sneaking suspicion that this problem may be caused by a security update for the RPC vulnerability. I dont know why but I have this exact problem and it occured when I installed the update for the RPC vulnerability. I also know some peope that have experiencesd this after installign the blaster RPC patch.. Might be wrong but it seems like a big co-incidence...
