I was having the same problem. None of the solutions posted above worked for me either.
I read another solution elsewhere on the internet which worked for me, and will hopefully
work for you as well.
This idea involves, once again, messing with the registry. Go to [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell]
The Data probably says "explore". Change it to "none" (Right click on "(Default)",
click "modify"...)
Important: This does not just mean leave the data blank. Actually TYPE IN the text
string "none" without the quotes.
