Not promising this won't have unwanted side effects...it might be better to just 
designate your install locations manually.  But here goes...

Go to Run.
Type: regedit

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion




On the right side, find the string called ProgramFilesDir and modify it to the desired path.
