I have this same problem trying to make my system recognize my Creative DigitalVCR
after upgrading(?) to Windows XP Pro.
1) I have tried the registry permission fix, but to no avail.
2) I have reinstalled XP, again - no work.
3) I have d/loaded the latest drivers from Creative - no work.
4) I have been in contact w/ Creative - "Check the Microsoft Website for your solution"
was their response.
5) Microsoft had a solution on their website - some little dos prog. that supposedly
fixes the prob - no work.
Is there anybody else out there who has had this same problem? The only solution
that seems to be available on the net is this regisitry permissions fix, but it doesn't
work for me.
Thanks
Canada Jim
