Hi, I am having a windows explorer problem. It just started today and is very annoying. Every once in a while if im accessing things like, control panel, my computer, my documents, etc. i get this error that pops up. Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Then i press ok, my task bar at the bottom of the screen disapears for a minute, reappears and then either everything is normal, or the computer starts running hella slow. Like a 300 mhz machine with 64 megs of ram. In the error details It says Mod Name: Jscript.dll and Appname: explorer.exe. I have alot on the drive and would like to avoid reinstalling the OS if possible. And i understand i could do a system restore to prev. date. But if possible i would like to find out whats causing it. I am running norton antivirus and firewall. I updated my virus definitions and it says im virus free. I am running an amd athlon xp 2000, 512 2700 ddr ram, 80 gb HD., Windows Xp Pro With All Avail Updates. Thanx for any help that u can give me,,,peace
