If you want security and real functionality, move to Mac OS X Panther--and get a new Mac to go along with it. You'll be able to to anything from the most simple-minded tasks to the most geekified terminal operations. You'll be able to do your work and play without wondering what you need to do to your computer next. You'll keep your machine longer and suffer far fewer problems during that time than any Windoze sufferer could ever hope for. Just a suggestion.
