I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Epson drivers several times with no luck.
Epson tech support tells me the printer and its drivers are 100% XP compatible.
I have even downloaded a driver from the website, the same thing happens. That
is why I'm guessing this might be a conflict with the PCI Bus controller...I did
manage to make a small step last night. I downloaded the 2.45, newest Nvidia "unified"
driver package and installed it in Safe Mode. That seemed to make the Nvidia PCI
controller show up as working, and using resources. (Before it would say "This device
is not using any resources because there is a problem with it." But on the main
properties page, it still says there is no driver installed for the device, and my
scanner isn't working yet......I'm getting bummed!
