I would just like to make a statement about your post.
I about 3 months ago did do this as you had suggested (To access your services:
Start Menu > Run > type: services.msc ) and found messenger service right clicked
on it went to properties and clicked disable then stop and then ok. Have not had
a gray pop up at all
You know the kind you can not copy and past from I was online the other day and my
fire wall popped up a box and told me that 1sass.exe was trying to send out I told
it no and continued to run operated just fine.
