Don't quote me on this but i believe ISA cards are NOT supported with windows XP.
XP will load generic divers in place if it cannot find pre-defined ones.
If you look at your hardware info under system you'll see that there are sounds drivers
loaded, but they will not work with your sound card. I believe the reason ISA is
not being supported has something to do with the IRQ handler, which i read is different
from 9x/me...something like that. My advice is to go get a cheap PCI card, you can
get a 6chl card for 17 bucks, or if ur hardcore, pick up a new 6.1 DTS/DOLBY D. card.
