To prevent MS Messenger from starting up on Windows XP go to the C:\Windows\PreFetch
Folder. There you will find a file named
MSMSGS.EXE-2B6052DE.pf
Remove that file from the folder. When u want to start Messenger again... simply
replace the file and reboot.
