This is odd. I'm having the same problem as everyone else here (insta-bluescreen-crash-reboot),
but with the same hardware that my HP came with. Except not in XP Pro, but XP Home.
And when it reboots, it gives me "system has recovered from a serious error" message,
with the option to send the log to Microsoft. Whether I send or not, it just keeps
popping the message up. If I let it sit for about ten minutes before I click on
one of the options, it goes away. I've suspected it was either a problem with the
display drivers or with the RAM (or perhaps a combination of the two). I've already
had to format and reinstall once because my computer apparently didn't recover from
it, and wouldn't boot up at all in any mode. After checking here, I'll definitely
look into getting new RAM To see if that fixes it.
