re: Adding new options to context menu for .avi Sunday, November 9, 2003 at 7:22 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ronald (2 messages posted) I managed it by adding the following line to the the registry: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AVIFile\shell\Open and check with DivFix] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AVIFile\shell\Open and check with DivFix\command] @="\"C:\\Program Files\\klein grut\\DivFix.exe\" \"%1\" \"-E\"" This will create a context menu option "Open and check with DivFix" that will open the file and check it for errors. If you want to open the file and just rebuild the index, You should delete the \"-E\" part at the end.
