This wa very helpfull. I was having the error with qttask.exe at startup, but also with te quicktimeplayer.exe. I removed qttask.exe, that no disk error went away, but I couldn't of course delete quicktimeplayer.exe. This tip about clearing the recent movies seems to have done the trick. Thanks g
