I've been dodging this problem for a year now. Sometimes the network connecton works
& sometimes NOT...... After 3 days at a customers location I finally called Microsoft
and put out the money to find the answer. It appears that WINXP doesn't play well
with a crossover cable. Buy a HUB and the problem went away. All works well with
a HUB!
