poster has NAV of some incarnation installed on his box. It pissed me off for a
while they same way.
The Problem

Hi fellas. Everytime I start Outlook Express, Windows Messenger loads with it too
- despite my Outlook Express setting not to start it. What's even more annoying is
that I cannot close it (Windows Messenger) even after I have closed Outlook Express.
It says: " There are other applications currently using features provided by Windows
Messenger. You must close these applications before you can exit Windows Messenger.
These applications may include Outlook, Outlook Express, MSN Explorer, and Internet
Explorer. " I have of course tryied to close it with everything else cosed. I couldn't.
Help!! I run Win XP Pro with SP 1. Outlook version is 6.00. Messenger Version is
4.7. I don't think you will need hardware info, but what the hek. MSI motherboard,
AMD Athlon 1600+ XP, 512 RAM, ATI All-In-Wonder 8500DV... Thanks for help. barondro
