I too have this problem. The best thing I did so far was to copy "taskmgr.exe" and
rename it to "taskmgr.com" as someone has already posted. This allowed me to open
task manager and locate the files giving me problems. My files were varied but the
original was tool.exe which I initally thought was part of Nero. I also had other
files that were giving me problems and I assume they are from the same virus. These
seem to be called a legitimate file followed by a few random letters such as ATIebg.exe
and MSGSexx.exe. My infection came, I think, when I was plugged directly into my
cable modem and I was not using my firewall.
