Haven't found an answer yet... I ended up using a different mouse (still old, however) and downloaded an updated driver from Logitech. I get mouse errors almost everyday and have to set up the buttons when the error occurs. My favorite cordless 3-button mouse is sitting in the corner of my desk waiting to be brought into the 21st century. Good luck!
