Following the advice of one of the posts above, I renamed taskmgr to taskmgr.com
and found that a deal called WUAUMGR.exe had been the trouble maker. The only problem
is that I don't know where it is in the regedit or how to stop it from restarting
with startup (it re-enables itself even though I disable it in msconfig). Any suggestions
would be apprecciated. Thanks Eric
