I recently went on a 2000PRO settings spree trying to make it a veritable Fort Knox,
well I mistook RemoteProcedureCall for a Remote Administration service! This caused
the following to cease functioning: CUT&PASTE-I could cut, but not paste! Some internet
forms...& the BIGGIE- RightClick Property dialogs would not appear sometimes(files
yes, services console NO). I would recommend people check out Everett's idea, I found
the RegKey and modified it from
0x00000004 to 0x00000002; voila! It worked. heh, phew(reading a forum 4min, changing
a RegKey 20sec, avoiding a reformat PRICELESS).
