Wrong.. Can not have two master devices, or two slaves on one channel. You must jumper one master and one slave per channel. The newer device is usually set as master but not always for ATAPI devices. Some run better as masters or slaves. The manufacturer's directions should be consulted to be sure. Unless you jump for cable select, make sure that the master device is on the end connector and the slave is on the middle connector. C K
