Adam, I've checked under tools/files/and all my graphics files are properly distributed
to my preferred files but windows pictureviewer opens them anyway; I've also tried
the registry suggestions and I get a "couldn't find" message. Having tried both
these suggestions, I'm REALLY getting a bit distressed. This is the most annoying
of the xp annoyances yet found. I got this computer 3 days ago and have been working
on it steadily to try to make it a useful tool with xp running; I bought it for the
HT ability with images especially, and I can't even open an image in (any of) my
graphics programs. I'm working on a graphic I have on my desktop -- a screenshot
of my old computer's desktop, so I can get all the programs I want on the desktop
-- and even though the icon is an ACDSee icon, it opens in the darned windows viewer!!!!!!!!
