WinXP
& Win98 File Sharing using IPX/SPX:I have an XP and win98 computer connected
in a simple network. I have Internet access on both and can share files/printers
using TCP/IP. I've followed the XP help instructions for changing the file sharing
protocol to IXP/SPX (On XP: install NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS and under advanced, click
off TCP/IP for file sharing) (On win98: del Microsoft File Sharing, add IPX/SPX protocol
and NetWare File Sharing service). Problem: win98 adding of NetWare File Sharing
also installs "Client for Netware Networks", which doesn't seem to have share-level
access, only user-level access (and wants a for list of users
and/or groups with permissions.) Anyway, now computers can't share files (tho both
still have internet access). At a loss from where to go from here. Any advice?
