I'm a bit confused on this, because I was having problems accessing the printer and
my music files on my laptop ....looking up the same info on annoyances.org I found
this info - http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article04-109 that says XP's firewall
does in fact not allow for file sharing - default firewall rules will disable access
to shared files from other computers on your local network - I did test this out
and when I disabled the firewall I could one access the shared printer -- is it possible
that there is something else at work or should I follow the instructions on the above
mentioned article - which has me adding File Sharing to the service settings.
