you might try this:  double-click "my computer" and move to an explorer window.  
Click "view" then "choose details."  At this point, you may tick or untick items 
to have included in the folder view.  You may also rearrange the relative positions 
of the items you want included by using the up- and down- arrows.

For those folder(s) in which you prefer to have tiles, choose settings that will 
NOT include size.  Then again at view > choose "tile."  When you are satisfied with 
your choices, hold the alt key while clicking the "x" to close the window.
