change your Desktop color to your wallpaper background color...
right click on your desktop > Properties > choose the Appearance tag > Item: (just
under Scheme:) > Scroll the list until you reach Desktop and choose it > choose a
new color for your Desktop (actually your new wallpepar color) > Apply... and it's
done
