My WinXP has reached a critical state. After having seen a few hints to Viral presence, I downloaded the Norton AntiVirus for a trial run. Once installed and updated, I had to restart the computer... I never managed to restart WindowsXP normally again. The only way I have access is through Safe mode. The only hints I had beforehand of any problems was: - an error message occuring every hour or so, about a Search.vbs problem (error number 80004005) - iexplorer processes appearing in the Task Manager. They appeared randomly and often. After 1hour, my task manager would have at least 15 iexplorer processes open. -the computer started slowing down a lot, and I had troubles with navigating in internet explorer. I'd be extremely gratefull for any help offered, it's quite an emergency. Thank you
