RAM usually won't speed up the boot process, but you might want to read tour mobo
info carefully - once the mobo has all the hardware identified, you can usually tell
it to stop doing the search/identify and to use what it currently has stored - this
can shave a decent amount off the time to boot. Personally, I let mine do all the
stuff it wants and just walk away for a few minutes after I turn it on - I don't
know or care how fast mine boots - just so long as it runs right once it gets into
Windows, I'm happy....
