Thanks Guys, I have no software other than XP loaded and it is a new HD and it is 7200,new MB (Intel D865gbf) new ram 4x256 the reason for all this was that the unit was taking so long to start up and I cannot understand why it is still so, as stated the only original parts are the floppy/cdr/case.???
