Sunday, December 21, 2003 at 9:37 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Rusty Shackleford (10 messages posted) Hi, i just finished paying off my Compaq Presario 1247 Laptop, now the laptop screen WONT TURN ON. It's on, but EXTREMELY DIM! Could somebody PLEASE help me? Is it possible that a connector on the inside of the laptop has come loose? Should I open it up and take a look? I really need this to work, it has all of my important documents and stuff on it. I also want to see if i can do this myself before having to take it to radioshack and pay $$$ for them to look at it and find out that a cable is loose.
