If you ever find a real solution, I would appreciate that you post it to me at Panther_Lover@hotmail.com. In my case, Explorer crashes when I click on the QuickLaunch icons, to open a folder. Then, the taskbar disappears for a few seconds, reappears with many icons in the tray, but a few ones are missing. The applications are still running, but the icon dont show up. Nothing precise is reported in the event viewer...
