Hi Nick, I was traveling all day yesterday, and just got
hime. What I did when I had a similar setup is just use
XP Firewall on the PC that was hooked up to the internet, and also left it on 24/7.
No firewall on the
other PC. I would think using zonealarm on
the internet PC would be OK, but never tried it. I'm
now using a router, and no firewalls other that the built
in router firewall. So if everything starts working, then
don't Shutoff the Main PC, the laptop shuting down is
OK though.
