I noticed in reading through this thread (and I have not read every post so I hope
Im not being redundant) that no one had touched on another annoyance that I have
stumbled across. It seems as though when Active Desktop is enabled, you lose some
of your feature sets, such as the transperancy of icon backgrounds. I noticed as
I toggled AD on/off, the background for icons also toggles on/off. Annoying to say
the least, especially when you are trying all the other solutions posted and none
of them work :o)
