The latest Java VM (1.4.2) does'nt work well for older applications on XP (sometimes
I wonder who is more screwed up Microsoft or Sun). Your best bet would be to get
it from Microsoft. Its called MSJVM. They're going to discontinue support sometime
in 2004. Try http://microsoft.com/java or search Microsoft's web site.
