It appeared in a error message like window a few minutes after sending the error report. The message said it's a response to the error report (and stated the number of tthe error) ,it contained information about my modem being the reason for the crashes of IE and suggested I get a different driver. The link for the driver download was provided. I downloaded it and IE seems OK, and my connection is even faster now! (still using good old dial-up...) I haven't got much knowledge about computers so it really was helpful.
