The Microsoft Connection Manager is a utility that was included in the Windows NT Options Pack and was used for creating remote access connects (RAS) for easier deployment by service providers. See the following link... "http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;221119" In the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 221119 for Microsoft Connection Manager 1.2, it states "This release will not install on Windows NT 5.0 beta 2 or Windows 2000." For this reason, I'd doubt that the Microsoft Connection Manager is compatible with Windows XP. I would try contacting your service provider to see if they have a more up-to-date method of connecting your computer to their service. Hope that helps...
