not sure exactly what your trying to do but if you right click on a picture like
let's say for example in my documents and choose properties, then a dialog box comes
up that says "opens with" and there is a button box where you can "change" what those
type of files open with, if you click on change you can change it to another program.
Like paint, picture it express, or something. I'm not sure on the history thing your
speaking of, mine doesn't seem to be doing that.
